Well, here we find ourselves on November 3, counting down to the end of 2009, and it seems to be hurtling towards us.I have been busy of late, due to trying to make up for lost time during my recent illness and corresponding absence from work. I fell behind somewhat in my obligations and thus have been trying to address these shortcomings.
Well, I must say the last few weeks, have seen some interesting developments. All the buzz is about H1N1 aka Swine Flu (which is a misnomer as it is really a combo of avian, porcine, and human flus), and the Copenhagen treaty. Let’s talk about H1N1 for a bit. It’s not a natural occurring flu, as it’s a combo of 3 types. How do you think they combined? By chance? By evolution? By design?
If you answered “by design” you would be correct. You see there has never been any proven macro evolution, where something mutates without design, from one species to another. Thus each species was susceptible to its own “brand of flu” UNTIL human scientists, with enough intelligence and education to know what they were doing, experimented with combining different types.
Now some allege, that they did so in the employ of Big Pharma, in order to develop new diseases and the accompanying vaccine (or cure), so as to make billions of dollars by manufacturing an accompanying pandemic scare. I do know that Jane Burgermeister, and others, have filed suit against the UN, the WHO, Big Pharma, and many others, for their complicity in the creation and spread of the Swine Flu. An acquaintance in France, was kind enough to email me a copy of the suit filed in Nice, France. It prompted me to research via YouTube and blogs, more info, on Jane Burgermeister, and those allied with her in exposing and holding accountable, the perpetrators (and their agenda).
You may say, after some research of your own, that they are not credible enough because they are somewhat allied with the anti-NWO types (New World Order), and thus you perceive them as a tad loony. Maybe there is some truth to it though (the advent of NWO), and they are the watchpersons on the wall of civilisation, trying to wake a slumbering populace to the dangers approaching.
This is why I say that. The Copenhagen summit, or whatever you choose to call it, in the name of “climate change” and the “green agenda”, is about world leaders, signing into existence a new world government, to which they will all defer and thus give up some (for now) sovereignty over their own countries and its affairs.
Bear in mind, my grandma, who was born in late 19th century England before coming to Canada, always said, “give him / them and inch, and he / they will take a mile. There is not one government that once having its appetite fed for power and control, that stops there and is content with that. The appetite just grows, as the desire for power and influence / control, grows also. Thus initially they seemed satisfied with an inch, but then they grasped a foot, then a yard, then a furlong, then a mile, etc. For those familiar with only metric, it means they at first seemed happy with a centimeter, but then as their appetite grew, expanded their reach to control a meter, then a kilometer, etc.
The founders of the USA designed a nation, for freedom, with minimal government, so as to allow for personal liberty for each citizen as well as maximum corporate liberty (meaning all the people / citizens as one body politic). As time went on, the tentacles of government reached further and further, so that now, freedom is in jeopardy, because those elected to govern, are entranced with totalitarian ideologies, and socialisation of the country. Both Anita Dunn and her husband, along with Ron Bloom, Van Jones, and others, have openly expressed their love of communism, Mao, and disdain for the free market system. Formerly communist countries. Russia for instance, have expressed incredulity that the US is heading down a path that they never would have thought possible, of a failed system of government. Russians endured over 70 years of hardship and suffering, under a communist system, and the people longed for the liberty and freedom of the West, especially as perceived in the US. Now they shake their heads in wonder, as they see the developments since January 2009.
Now how this all ties in to the Swine Flu and Copenhagen, is that they’re all the product of atheistic, Darwinist, amoral, philosophies as held by many of those in positions of influence and power today.
It has been said that if there is no God, who by creating the universe and all in it, & who has a moral law built into it, and who has given its principles via Moses, and the prophets, to mankind; but instead there is only random, darwinist, evolution, that is the product of just time and chance, and has no intelligence, nor morals, then there is also no accountability, humans are not perceived as created in God’s image, special creation,to be treated as children of the Creator, who will hold all accountable for their adherence to or breach of His laws; then anything is permissible and anything goes so to speak.
If there ins no God then another God will take His place to fill the vacuum, and in most instances it will be STATISM in some form, upheld by the mini gods ie sicience, political ideologies, and an elitism of those who feel that they are the only worthy ones, to govern, control, and determine the affairs of their fellow man.
Thus they subscribe to NWO policies and agenda, because they believe they should rule the world by virtue of their wealth, power, “education”, or whatever other criteria they esteem gives them the right.
Thus they can decide that there’s too many people on the planet, which is causing the planet harm, and by coupling their totalitarian green-ism, with dupes and complicit henchman, decide to implement policies of transfer or wealth (the purpose of Copenhagen) from wealthier countries to poorer countries, from wealthier people to poorer people, (except bear in mind, they the extremely wealthy won’t be parting with any of theirs, but rather we whom they govern will part with more of ours) in the interests of ‘fairness’ and “equalisation” etc.
What happened to the idea, that a man is worthy of his hire, is entitled to his earnings thereby, and thus ambition and thrift, hard work to achieve goals, etc entitled him to the fruits of his labour? If one man is more successful, wealthier, or has a higher standard of living than another, due to his reaping the benefits of his sowing, thrift, industriousness, wise management, etc,then he should not be compelled by any political power, or person, to forfeit in order that what’s his, may be redistributed to others of someone else’s choosing.
Charity is a biblical concept, whereby the more fortunate so to speak, WILLINGLY and CHEERFULLY, by choice, compassionately give some of theirs to aid those in need, and less fortunate ie widows, orphans, etc.
The bible nowhere mandates political powers wielded by persons in government, to stripping anyone of their earned rewards, to “redistribute” as they see fit.
Well, for now, I will end this and continue it in another post, Suffice it to say for now, that freedom is teetering on the precipice of human greed and power lust, and there are voices in the wilderness (modern John the Baptists) like Glenn Beck, FOX, Alex Jones (see “The Fall of the Republic”), Jane Burgermesiter, Kathy Shaidle, Mark Steyn, Ezra Levant, Michael Coren, David Warren, Binks the Webelf (of Free Mark Steyn blog), and so many others, who are fighting for freedom, liberty, and trying to awaken their slumbering fellow citizens to the dangerous waters we are all swimming in so to speak. Heed them. Seek them out online, spread the news they uncover, wake your countrymen.

I have been somewhat remiss at adding to my blog due to various factors. I hope to rectify this in the coming weeks.
I had to attend a course mandated by local government, that they suppose is necessary for my job, as a part time cabbie here in my city. It was on conflict and stress resolution, safety, and legalities pertaining to it. The class was comprised, almost half, of drivers with many years of experience, and who were also fairly adept at expressing, in a no nonsense, straightforward manner, what was on their mind.
The material we were given was not half as interesting as the constant input from these drivers. I believe that the course instructor is getting an education as well.
At any rate, I was thinking of the course in relation to our everyday lives. Maybe because the cabbies are used to being in dangerous (at times) situations, having to make quick assessments, act according to those assessments, and interact with many types of people, they were less apathetic than many people in contemporary society seem to be.
As more than one of them pointed out, if everyone had common sense, used it accordingly, and also treated others as they would like to be treated in the same situation, then laws would be unnecessary, and society would function more harmoniously.
It was also pointed out, that of the types of people one encounters daily, (ie “nice people”, “not so nice people”, “people who can be either of the preceding types depending on various factors, and finally, “dingbats” or “wingnuts”), that the category of “dingbats” (whether by choice or mental affliction) were what most laws were designed to “handle or protect” (to which I would add, the “not so nice” segment are also the focus of laws, when they are the perpetrators of criminal or unacceptable behaiour).
If one were to define the words “reasonable” and “unreasonable”, in the “old fashioned” sense, they would mean capable or incapable of reason, or reasoning with. The latter, it would be argued, are the ones that most laws are addressed to, possibly because of their actions or reactions that result from their unreason-able behaviour.
We can debate forever, the many reasons contributing to unwillingness or inability to reason, (cultural, religious, stunted development, temperamental, etc) but the fact remains, that in the end one still has to deal with them, hopefully in a manner that resolves each situation favourably for all, with no legal, physical, emotional, or mental consequences of a negative nature.
Believe it or not, Christ, was a promoter of reasoning with your opponent, and coming to a mutually acceptable resolution. This should not surprise us because God created (and the bible tells us Christ co created with Him), humans with a mind inherent with reasoning capabilities.

I have been battling, for several weeks now, a very bad bacterial infection, named “cellulitis” in my left leg. Today (the 12th) is the day my IV comes out and I am so looking forward to it! I will still be on oral meds, but hopefully I am seeing light at the end of this tunnel.
During this time of being sidelined, I have spent some time reading, some time, watching YT (You Tube) vids, tried to somewhat keep up my Tweets on Twitter, and my posts on Facebook.
Some of the interesting materials I have been trying to digest, include,
“Atheist Delusions” by David Bentley Hart, “Lights Out -The Twilight of the West” by Mark Steyn,and “Politically Incorrect Guide to Western Civilisation” by Dr. Anthony Esolen. I found some common threads, including the total lack of true appreciation and understanding of what contributed to Western Civ, making it the spiritual, scientific, political, and anthropical climate that allowed the increasing of human liberty, rights, and knowledge.
No other basis, that I can see, would have caused the flourishing, of all that was held dear by our forefathers, and passed down to us, (who have largely not appreciated it to the degree it should have been), a bit like the poem “Flanders Fields” describes – “to you with failing hands we pass the torch..”.
As I scan the scope and rapid development of current events, I have to admit, that the time referred to as, “the end of days” is hurtling towards us, and many are unaware.
I am learning how successful the disinformation campaign, over the last 160 yr or so, has been at “fudging the facts” especially about Christianity’s contributions to Western Civ.
People like Dawkins, Harris, Hitchens, Pullman, and the present day educational systems, including those who teach in them, at all levels, have been largely successful at reversing one of Christianity’s main contributions, ie freedom of inquiry. This is demonstrated rather well, in Ben Stein’s documentary film, “Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed”.
We are seeing this same spirit, now being greatly expanded and its devotees trying to suppress dissenting voices, smear opponents characters, and generally, in summary, INCREASING THE INTOLERANCE LEADING TO TOTALITARIANISM.
Examples mentioned in the past include, the illegal detainment and harassment, of a Ron Paul organiser in St. Louis a few months back, because Fed Gov reps have been trying to cast them as “domestic terrorists” for their dissenting views, the smear campaign vs “Joe the Plumber” and Sarah Palin, for having the temerity to have values or opinions these leftists don’t approve.
Now we see, POTUS appointing reps as czars, who are basically communists (ie Van Jones for one), black racists also, or Supreme Court Justices who have their own leftist agenda (Sonia Sotermayor). All this is just the tip of the iceberg. Kudos to Glenn Beck and those, who dedicate time and resources to uncover that which only seems to bring heat down on them from the angry left (which is almost all of the left), and are being targeted in order to be silenced, even if it means ignoring the constitution, in order to conform that which emanates from the media, especially new media & Beck, to dissemination of only that which is approved by the targeters.
Jones was forced to resign, because Beck for one, totally exposed who and what, he really is. The people may be starting to wake up and realise just how much, they erred, in electing the POTUS, because they were swept up in the MSM & Hollywood propaganda that fomented the waves of Obamamania.
Canadians should relate to that. They were swept up 40 yr ago, in a similar wave, of adulation for a little known, university educated, activist, intellectual. The result was what is called “Trudeaumania” and the resultant socialism that entailed, commonly referred to as “Trudeaupia”.
Thinking back 40 yr, I have come to see that Enoch Powell, was one of the few prophetic voices, who started to tackle unpleasant ideas & issues, which caused him to be reviled by the powerful, who tried to ostracise him. Glenn Beck is in good company. Mark Steyn to a degree, is a modern day Enoch Powell.
In order to try to bring this to a temporary finale, I would sum my thoughts up, as this:
The distortion of, once appropriated, ideas by Charles Darwin, Julian Huxley, and Frederich Nietzsche, has brought us to a society of what Jonah Goldberg labelled, “Progessivism”, led by names like Woodrow Wilson, Margaret Sanger, FDR, Georges Sorel, George Soros, Ayn Rand, LBJ, Dhimmi Carter, Bush sr and jr, and now of course BHO. I left out many because the list would be too long (ie Alinsky, Ayers, Dorhn, Rudd to name a few). As I ruminate and ponder some more, I hope to add more thoughts.

A friend who I have known for years, who my brother and I helped lead to Christ, was over today to talk. We had a good visit as he shared what he is learning and the issues in his life he is dealing with.
He commented that we as humans tend to get sidetracked, often, and away from the simple truth of the Word of God, and instead dwell on complicated theological concepts – whether we recognise them as such or not.I shared with him, that I could relate to his struggles, as I had experienced a lot of peaks and valleys in my walk over the last 37 years or so, and had spent more than enough time in wildernesses of my own making.
I said that even today it is still very easy for me to get swept up in current events, politically, economically, and spiritually, to the point of exclusion of listening to the Spirit of God’s voice, and praying for direction, etc.
I do not believe it’s wrong to care about our countries, the freedoms they were founded upon, the moral and ethical base they were based on too.
I don’t believe it’s necessary to withdraw to a life of minimal interaction in this world, or to live as it could be depicted, as a hermit. The Word said to be in the world but not OF the world ie the same spirit, mentality, and chicanery of the world.BUT I am realising that it’s very important to be Spirit-directed or led, and not depend on the arm of the flesh, ie the natural or carnal man.
Recently I re read Watchman Nee’s “The Normal Christian Life” and am still trying to absorb a lot of the meat therein contained, and apply it to me.
On another note, I was pleased to see that Swarna Jha, has melded all her blogs etc, into ONE and that she is once again sharing whatever the Lord leads her to.

Sorry for the delay in adding new content but I have not had a lot of time lately to be doing that. At any rate, I have been thinking a lot lately about what a mess the world is in, and listening to Larry Norman’s songs, one of which uses that quip – here it is in full: “What a mess the world is in, I wonder who began it? Don’t ask me, I’m only visiting this planet”.
It’s been a year and a half approximately, since Larry departed this planet and went home to be with his Lord. While he was here, he was very controversial, and like all of us, somewhat flawed. Now, this Dave DiSabbatino dude, is putting out a pseudo-documentary, along the lines of “The Outlaw Larry Norman, Fallen Angel” or something like that, which I gather seems to focus on LN’s failings ie flaws, and mistakes.
I wonder who Dave’s life would hold up under a microscope of scrutiny? Or any of us?
A very wise man once said, in a similar context, “Let him who is without sin, cast the first stone”. Brilliant!
The legalistic religious hypocrites, thought they had Him when they asked, “The Law says that the penalty for this woman’s sins, is death by stoning, what do You say?”.
The brilliant response cut to the heart of everyting. He basically agreed that their quote of the Law was correct, and that thus the penalty correct as well. All He asked though, was that if there was a person without flaws, without sin, without having missed the Standard of God’s Law, THEN that person could cast the first stone due to his inherent righteousness.
It seems they all skulked away one by one, with no one throwing the stone. The One (not Obama), who was so qualified, turned and asked the woman, “Where are your accusers?”. When she informed him they apparently all left, HE, who was qualified to execute the judgment of the Law upon her, forgave her, and told her to go and change her present life’s direction from one of sin to one of seeking His righteousness and everything else she needed would be added unto her.
So much of today’s “news” is dominated by finger-pointing and judgmental-ism, that is NOT based upon genuine love, compassion, and concern for the eternal well being of others.
We need to refocus people by looking unto Him who is the Author and Perfecter of our faith, and let His Spirit guide us.
No I am not advocating being blind to all that’s wrong with society and the world, nor am I advocating doing nothing to try to change things, but I am advocating doing whatever is done from pure motives, a pure heart, and much prayer for guidance.
